The Metis Nation of Ontario is welcoming the appointment of David Zimmer as Aboriginal Affairs Minister.President Gary Lipinski says the Metis have enjoyed a previous relationship with the new minister when he served as a parliamentary secretary.
Lipinski says he's looking for Zimmer to continue to work towards implementing the objectives agreed upon in the recent framework agreement with the province.
