Native Protest At Border

A peaceful protest at the border on the weekend.

Nearly 150 native people from northern Minnesota and Canada gathered in International Falls as part of demonstrations against the Harper government.

Karla Bluebird from Red Lake, Minnesota says the environmental concerns being expressed by First Nations in Canada are also a worry to U.S. bands.

The protest was one of several at border crossings that took place.
