Budget Surplus Dollars Divided Up

In Minnesota, the House and Senate have agreed on how to divvy up more than $280-million in supplemental spending.

Health and Human services will get the bulk of the extra money resulting from the State's budget surplus - nearly $104 million.

54 million will go to education with another $22-million to higher education.

$15-million has been earmarked for transportation.
