Two International Falls groups want to continue a summer music concert at the Irvin N. Anderson amphitheater.Falls Rotary Club and Backus Auditorium stepped forward after hearing talk the concerts may not continue.
Ward Merrill of Backus sees them helping build the economy.
Mike Ward of Rotary says the event has also become a major fundraiser for them, raising over 80-thousand dollars for local projects.
Mayor Bob Anderson says he's not opposed to a group taking over, but would like a detailed budget before moving forward if the city is asked to be a lead.
