The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting an increase in respiratory illness.
Manager of Infectious Diseases Donna Stanley says hospitals and clinics are busy as a result.
Stanley says some are also visiting with the stomach flu, but there's little can be done as the virus can't be treated with antibiotics, and usually go away on their own.
Stanley says if you have the flu, stay home.
