Roller Derby Needs More People

Members of the Borderland Roller Derby League are ramping up efforts to keep its sport going in Fort Frances.

Melissa Carpenter says their search is for more players, volunteers and a coach.

It's also looking for a permanent place to play.

The team has been using the former Stratton Curling Club as a practice site, but is still searching for facilities closer to Fort Frances.

A fundraiser will also be held this Friday at Little Beaver Snow Park
