Thunder Bay Bruce Hyer is not getting support from another northwestern Ontario MP for his decision to leave the NDP.Thunder Bay-Rainy River's John Rafferty believes the position that Hyer has put himself in is not a good one.
Rafferty also thinks Hyer's decision to sit as an independent will compromise his ability to be an effective MP.
