CUPE Rally at Campbell's Office in Dryden Today

Sarah Campbell will receive a lot of valentines today from the Canadian Union of Public Employees.

The union representing workers at the Kenroa-Rainy River District Child and Youth Services is dropping them off for the area's MPP to deliver to the new Premier.

Union president Don Pearson says they're to signify the funding problems the newly merge agency is facing.

Pearson says its also taking twice as long to service client, and services they can provide are becoming limited.

Major Blaze On Lake

A costly fire at the north end of Lake of the Woods on the weekend.

Friday's blaze at Clearwater Bay, west of Kenora, completely destroyed a multi-story cottage.

It had been recently up for sale, with a list price of $2.45 million.

Cause of the fire is under investigation.
