The Ontario Provincial Police have a new detachment commander for the Rainy River district.Staff Sergaent Steve Shouldice moves up the rank to Inspector and takes over the position vacated by Inspector John Kendrick who relocated to OPP's headquarters in Thunder Bay.
Shouldice had been serving as the acting detachment commander since last October.
