MNR Employee Sentenced

A man working for the Ministry of Natural Resources in Thunder Bay has been convicted of child pornography charges and sentenced to 14 days in jail.

A government spokesman says David Laderoute's 18-year career with the public service has ended.

He used a computer at the Thunder Bay Ministry of Natural Resources office to access pornographic websites.
