It's a big day for Felicia Schmutz.
The district's hopeful at this year's Miss Teen Canada-World pageant in Toronto begins a preliminary event aimed at weeding the more than 60 girls entered to a final twenty for Saturday's final.
The 18-year-old Emo resident is hoping to be one of the finalists.
Public can also lend their support by voting for her on-line.
The top voter getting in the on-line vote earns a berth to the final.
Schmutz says the week so far has been chocked full of special events and she's forged new friendships with the other contestants.
