This year's Fort Frances Chamber of Commerce's Home and Leisure Show is begin called a huge success.
Exact attendance figures aren't immediately know, but president Cathy Emes was very happy with the turnout.
"We're very, very pleased," said Emes. "It's been spectacular. There's been good crowds. We have lots of exhibitors. The number of booths we've managed to sell, it's been terrific. There's just been a great response from the whole of the Rainy River district."
The chamber also used the event to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Emes says strong support from businesses and the district and a willingness to change have kept the chamber vibrant.
"Because of what's the situation is globally as well locally with the economy, now's the time where we really have to look to change and really look to working together to support the businesses locally."
