Awards have been handed out as part of the "Twas the Lights Before Christmas" parade in International Falls.The entry from the local Girls Scouts, Brownies and Daisies, entitled "Gingerbread House and Gifts" earned first place money of $300.00.
Koochiching Economic Development Authority entry was second while the International Falls Chamber of Commerce's "Gizzard Girls" and Moose Lodge tied for third.
Sassy, a Yorkshire Terrier, owned by Dixie Kalstad was winner of the cutest pet contest.
