A bear believed responsible for attacking a man at a northwestern Ontario provincial park on the weekend has been captured.

A 42-year-old Thunder Bay man is recovering after being repeatedly attacked by a black bear at Sandbar Provincial Park near Ignace on Saturday.

Provincial police says park officials were able to live trap the bear yesterday morning.

Trails around the park are remain closed until an investigation is complete.
