The Ministry of Natural Resources is concerned with the number of human caused fires that have sparked in recent days.One near Little Sawbill Lake northeast of Fort Frances occured on the weekend.
Information Officer Debbie MacLean says the forest fire hazard could reach extreme levels by the end of the week.
There are 34 fires still burning, most being monitored by the MNR.
Six of those fires are burning in Quetico Provincial Park.
