A long-time mayor of International Falls, who died earlier this year, has a seaplane base on the waterfront named in his honour.A dedication ceremony was held yesterday.
Murray's daughter Patty Murray Christianson says her father was aware of the dedication before his passing.
"We are so happy that dad knew of the dedication and has seen the plaque is going up," says Murray-Christianson. "He was so proud and so looked forward to being here today to receive this honour."
The ceremony came on a day that Murray would have turned 90.
