Fort Frances public school board trustee David Kircher has been found to have breached the trustee code of conduct.
In a 4-2 vote, Rainy River District School Board trustees approved the motion last night related to Kircher's release of information pertaining to a November in-camera session by the previous board.
Chair Mike Lewis, who voted against the motion, says Kircher has fourteen days to respond.
"At the next board meeting, April 5, we can then vote to confirm or reject the motion that was passed tonight," says Lewis. "If it's confirmed, then a recommendation will be for a consequence."
Kircher was surprised by the outcome, but insists no wrongdoing.
