OPP are petitioning area residents for information into eleven unsolved homicide cases in northwestern Ontario.
Sergeant Shelley Garr says they've posted information about the cases on their website http://www.opp-ca/ in hopes of soliciting tips from the public.
"Some of these cases date back to 1966," says Garr, "and all of these cases are unsolved at these time. Our hope is that someone will look through some of these cases and something will jog their memory. We're hoping they will call their local police or Crimestoppers and pass that information along"
Among the cases on the website is the 1985 death of John Bonnefoy in Atikokan.
