A woman who had been held in custody by the Koochiching County Sheriff's Office has died.Authorities says the woman was found hanging in a cell at the County jail last Tuesday night.
28-year-old Kathryn Schneider was eventually airlifted to hospital in Duluth where she was pronounced dead on Saturday.
Police say the woman had turned herself in last Tuesday on a parole violation.
