The outgoing medical officer of health for the Northwestern Health Unit is pleased with some of the changes implemented in his five years at the helm.
Dr. Jim Arthurs retires at the end of March.
Arthurs says eliminating some of the boundaries between the various programs offered is among his biggest achievement.
Arthurs says people who come in for programs such as Healthy Babies or immunizations, can also get information about improving their eating habits, exercise and hygiene tips.
