Anglers fishing Mukooda Lake in Voyageurs National Park will no longer be allowed to keep lake trout.The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is permitting only catch and release in the lake for the next 18 months beginning January 15.
The DNR cites the slow growth of the trout's population and unsuccessful efforts to restock the lake as reasons for the change.
