Some savings for vehicle owners who must receive emission tests.As of April 1, the Ontario government is reducing the costs of the tests by five dollars.
The tests were introduced as a way to reduce smog and other toxic emissions from motor vehicles.
The fee is being reduced from $35 to $30 to ensure the program is not taking in more money than it costs to run the tests.
