Careful Of Ticks

The Northwestern Health Unit is advising the public to protect themselves from Lyme Disease.

It's something that can be transmitted through deer ticks.

Public Health Inspector Kurt Casey says the tick must be on the person for 24-hours for the bacteria to enter the body.

The Health Unit is also offering Tick Kit at its offices.
