Police Costs Savings Possible

Some possible saving for the town of Fort Frances towards its policing costs for next year.

OPP are estimating costs to be about $2.660-million.

That's about $28-thousand less than what was estimated for this year.

Costs are determined on a per case basis.

OPP have also determined the exact cost of policing for the first six months of this year to be about $49-thousand less than estimated.
