Former Minnesota Governor Opposes Ban

Former Governor Jesse Ventura is speaking out against a gay marriage ban on the Minnesota ballot.

The former Independence Party governor and longtime gay rights supporter appears in a video posted online by Minnesotans United for All Families.

In the video, Ventura and his wife, Terry, talk about their 37-year marriage and urge Minnesotans to show their independence by rejecting the gay marriage ban.

Voters will decide the issue in November's elections.
