The Salvation Army in Fort Frances has kicked off its annual May Red Shield Appeal Campaign.A flag-raising ceremony Tuesday morning at the Civic Centre was held to signify the start of the month long campaign.
Captain Angel Sandoval says it's one of their most important fundraisers of the year.
The money raised goes back into a variety of programs aimed at helping people in need across the Rainy River district
