Surpluses have been achieved by the town of Fort Frances in both its water and sewer departments.Over $327-thousand from the water system and $163-thousand in the sanitary sewer system will be put in their respective reserve funds to pay for future upgrades.
The surpluses are the result of higher than expected revenues and a drop in expenditures.
