Some Catholic students in the Rainy River district are foregoing food today.Amy LaFroy of the Northwest Catholic District School Board says it's part of an annual student leadership initiative through Development and Peace that helps raise awareness of global issues such as small farms.
The intermediate students at St. Francis School in Fort Frances and Our Lady of the Way in Stratton are also participating in workshops.
