It's still two months away, but area residents are being to think about Christmas and how they can make it more enjoyable for children in need around the world.Local organizers Della McQuakers Operation Christmas Child is now underway in the Rainy River District.
Residents are asked to fill a shoe box with small items to be sent to children in need around the world.
Shoe boxes are now available at Northland Basics and The Bargain Store in Fort Frances, Tompkins Hardward and the Calvary Baptist Church in Emo and at Quetico North Outfitters near Atikokan.
