Hazards of Chewing Tobacco Illustrated
Fort Frances High School students got a first-hand look at the hazards of using chewing tobacco.
Gruen Von Behren, who developed oral cancer at 17, spoke to students yesterday.
Thirty-four surgeries has caused his lower face to become disfigured and his speech slurred.
Von Behren is now a national spokesperson for Oral Health America’s National Spit Tobacco Education Program.
