Residents in the town of Rainy River are being told to boil their tap water before using it.
The advisory comes after a major water line break yesterday forced the town to shutdown its water treatment plant, leaving the entire community of one thousand without water for much of the day.
Water services were restored late yesterday afternoon.
The advisory is expected to continue through the weekend.
