AbitibiBowater has established a new board of directors to oversee the company as it prepares to exit creditor protection.
The nine members will serve with company president and CEO David Paterson and chair Richard Evans.
They include just two holdovers from current board and former U.S. Ambassador to Canada David Wilkins.
The new board takes over following approval of the company's restructuring plan by creditors and courts in the U-S and Canada which is expected this fall.
