Hudak, who visited Thunder Bay yesterday, says the pending legislation does nothing for job creation.
"If Dalton McGuinty's Far North Act been passed years ago we never would have known about the Ring of Fire," says Hudak. "We would never have seen the Victor Mine in Attiwapiskat. Dalton McGuinty basically wants to turn the entire Far North into a park and kiss all of those opportunities good-bye."
Hudak says the bill has been rammed through the Legisature without consultation.
